One Google connection brings three things at once. Together they turn your day-to-day correspondence and meetings into relationship history, with no manual logging.
What you get
Email (Gmail): real correspondence becomes part of each relationship's history, and commitments in your sent mail ("I'll send it Friday") become reminders. Newsletters, bulk mail, and automated senders are filtered out.
Calendar: every external meeting is logged as an interaction with the people in the room. Internal-only meetings, declined events, and all-day events are skipped.
Contacts: imports your address book, enriched automatically.
What Goodword does with it
These three sources don't just sit in a list. They build your relationship graph: Goodword's live picture of who you know, how well, and how it's changing.
Every email and meeting becomes relationship history, dated and attached to the right person, so each relationship has a real timeline instead of a fuzzy memory.
Goodword measures how warm each relationship is from the recency, frequency, and variety of your interactions, so it can tell an active tie from a fading one and resurface the dormant relationships worth reviving.
Each person gets enriched with role, company, and background, and kept current as they change jobs.
Your commitments become reminders ("I'll send it Friday" in your sent mail).
The noise is filtered out (newsletters, bulk mail, internal-only meetings), so what's left is signal.
The payoff is a CRM that builds and maintains itself, and gets sharper with every source you add.
How to connect
Settings → Integrations → Connect on Google.
Sign in with Google and approve the permissions.
In the Manage panel, toggle what you want synced and set import windows for Email and Calendar (1y / 3y / 5y / all time).
Connect multiple Google accounts, personal and work. Goodword blends the context from all of them, so a relationship that lives half in your work inbox and half in your personal one shows up as one complete picture.
Troubleshooting
Meetings not appearing: check the meeting had at least one attendee outside your company domain. Internal-only meetings are intentionally skipped.
Want more history: widen the import window in Manage, and Goodword backfills the older data.
Connected the wrong account: disconnect it in Manage and connect the right one. Imports from the removed account can be cleaned up from the Data Hub.
