Goodword's AI chat, working where you already work
The best relationship system is the one you feed in the moment, and in the moment, you're in your messages or your inbox, not in an app. So Goodword's AI chat comes to you: text with Goodword or email Goodword like a person, and it captures, reminds, answers, adds contacts, and files. Everything the chat in the app can do, wherever you already are.
Text with Goodword
Opt in once from Settings → Integrations → Text with Goodword (verify your phone number, check the consent box). When Goodword texts, save the number and pin it to your Favorites so Goodword is always one tap away when you're walking out of a meeting. Text it:
A note: "Just met Priya Shah at the airport lounge, Partner at Vine Capital, into climate, said to ping her in Sept." Filed to Priya Shah, searchable forever.
A reminder: "Remind me to send Marcus Chen the proposal Friday." Done.
A voice memo: debrief a meeting while you walk. Goodword files the notes to the right people and turns your commitments into reminders.
A new contact: text "add Jordan Lee, runs data at a fintech, met at the AI dinner" or send a photo of their business card. Either way the contact is created and enriched in the background.
A question: "Who do I know at Databricks?" and Goodword texts back the answer.
A photo: send a photo of a business card and Goodword saves it as context on their contact.
Text STOP any time to opt out, START to come back.
Email Goodword
Email Goodword at [email protected] from the address on your account, and it replies right in the thread:
Forward important information. An email list to import, an intro thread, a message you want on the record. Forward it to [email protected] and Goodword files it.
Notes and questions: same as text, in inbox form. Send yourself thoughts after a call and they get filed, or ask about your network and get a reply.
Attachments: email a contact spreadsheet (CSV) and get back "Imported N contacts." Business cards and event badges work by email too.
What people use it for
Turn an event attendee list into a group. Forward an event's guest list (a Luma export, a conference roster, the RSVP thread) to [email protected], and Goodword creates a group from it or adds the people straight to your contacts, enriched and ready to follow up.
Capture at the speed of a founder's day. You're between meetings 40 times a week, exactly when context evaporates. Voice memo from the walk, business card photo from the coffee, "remind me to close the loop with the Stripe PM" from the back of the car. Zero app opens, everything lands.
The no-new-software system. You already run your day from texts. Now the customer detail worth remembering, the supplier follow-up, the card from the vendor rep: one text each. It meets you where you already work, which is why it's the habit that sticks.
Client-site capture without pulling out a laptop. Walking out of an on-site: one voice memo covers the meeting, the new stakeholder, and the three things you owe them. Email the client's old contact spreadsheet to Goodword in your first week and their ecosystem is imported before your second session.
Pipeline notes in the ten minutes between calls. "Discovery with Fieldhouse went well. Budget is real, decision in Q3, the ops lead is the champion. Remind me to send the scope Thursday." One text: note filed, reminder set. After a conference, the pocketful of business cards becomes five photos, texted, done.
